A news item regarding Angola, its government and the intention to outlaw religions other
than a state controlled alternative to a number established. One such Islam claimed by a
spokesperson to represent 0.5 to 1% of the population, he goes on to claim Islam is not a
threat. The government's intention (going by the Islam spokesperson) to deal with a
perceived(?) problem (ED. possibly the only in the making) before destroying other houses
of worship; the government attack on the latter maybe intended to show impartiality.
This is what the the World Fact Book has to say. "Constitution: previous 1975, 1992; latest
adopted 5 February 2010 (2013)". [Edit. Questioning from the forgoing and the Angolan
government intentions: Which constitution gave power to what must be assumed as a atheistic
take-over of consensual religion?!?!]

A report from a regular contributor Don introduces from time to time. Discussion starts with China's trade (namely America) and as debt money is feed through the national system to acquire Chinese imports. The debt takes on a international exchange value to pay for Middle-East oil. [Ed. Elsewhere some concerning -- alarming if true -- facts in commodity exports to China has been brought to attention.] Don has maintained Australia fits into this (if it happens in the US also here) paradigm. Oft used metaphor in this "Present" -- and earlier -- by one of Don's (Internet streamed) economic assessors is "Zombie"; undoubtedly, some (a commercial class), greatly benefit, but it would seem so do many more on this planet. A planet considered by those regarded as our (incl. myself) "betters" over optimized. Regrettable a departure from orthodox ... for sustainability is producing violence, this Don's assessor (herein referred) made more to do of ...

A author of unknown peer esteem who advocated that government and Corporations of fortune
(cf. "Soldiers of fortune") finance should be directed into national (America) infrastructure development. Instead of fostering and financing wars he claims are detrimental to that nation.

Present 5.
NOW this breeze of long overdue reason from the world of academia. If only for this alone
to put aside four hours of travel to ASC venue. Members, myself included, thoroughly feed-up
with the whining, emotive attacks promoted whenever a issue of gun ownership arises due to
some "half baked" reporting of some incident, anywhere in the World, a firearm in the hands of
a member of the public, who's not in uniform, and alleged misuse of a weapon. We all know(?) (or we all should know by the time of voting age) who are the traitorous "criminals". Those erroneously misusing the sovereignty, bestowed by forebears of currently enfranchised, people physical like those they claim to represent. Then there's the anti-gun control element with attitudes expressed formally (above), a spokesperson come to the fore, expressing trite condemnations on behalf of (well documented) internationalists intention. Willfully oblivious to a World undergoing change and caring less holding out for their reward.
So when Don made this streaming available it was a delight to members to listen to what was
said. Rational and incisive, debunking the "death wish" hype (A-G.C. element apparently
have such a wish). Exposing anti-gun control moves within bureaucracy by those who apply
their branded culture to politicians and governments alike. Surely sinful nationalists(sic), public servants to us all, who well understanding the mounting disharmony within society and engendered fears consequent; public servants who don't advise their Ministers accordingly: existing draconian gun control legislation has well passed its use-by date.
A pleasure hearing thoughts expressed by a person with a healthy mind, on what shouldn't be
a contentious subject.
There's a saying "ignorance is bliss" surely not when survival is in the balance.
CONCLUSION with a vote of thanks for the secretary evenings events.
