People from Thailand or Taiwan enter Australia on holiday work permits, organised by employment agencies.  The workers it was claimed avoid payment of tax and are lowly paid, further claim of harassment from an interviewer on behalf of worker in food processing.  Whether from the above countries or China, Japan and Korea Australian workers are displaced.  Enterprises using these agencies should (according to a interviewed) employ directly; thereby, labour union can mediate for a better deal for locals and imported earners alike. Another Report with a similar theme regarding employment, this time from America post GFC.  The explicit suggestion is that qualified people working is states with sea boarders need additional work.  The work means a second job to survive independent of welfare.  Or, a job that pays well, such as in occupation service, but with reference to employment in Australia where base rates and taxation are far less punitive.  Apparently unlike here, local government in the US can determine standards of pay.  The example of one mayor having to deal with encroaching poverty concerns, he vetoed a increase of the minimum rate for his jurisdiction.  The joint once was the home of internationally industrial names has become a employment recycling haven particularly for, and waste of builds and their constructional materials.  Whether it be the East or West of the United States examples of people and families (black and white) in economic hardship, and the cost of medical cover prohibitive for many.  The Visual-audio report ended with the pessimistic conclusion "... hard work is a myth" as the means to betterment.

Follows the wanderings of Herman Wainggai  (from West Papua) an as a "advocate the West Papua issue to the international community and Australian Government".  He sought refuge along with others in Northern Australia, relocated to Melbourne before finding his way to Papua (New Guinea) to liaise with his people fleeing West Papua via Jayapura to Wewak (Papua).  Apparently suppressed by dissimilar people (Indonesians) the indigent people up-rise from time to time -- media film inserts bear this out -- only to be cracked-down upon by Indonesian military and police. An educated female from Papua asserts that pregnant natives have fetus's killed by injection ... " According to Yale University study since Indonesia occupied West Papua in 1963 there has been 400,000 unnatural deaths in the province". [Closing Credits]

The present a departure from the preceding dealing with work remuneration.  Second guessing why Don introduced a subject dealing with near neighbours to the North, since it didn't occur to club members assembled -- the pity, with more attendees what follows may be not necessary.  It was common knowledge in 1963 the American President was instrumental in ceding West Papua to Indonesia.  So then and since, how have (our) governments reacted(?)  The imperative seems to do everything other than the logical and natural.  Approach to a pending dilemma not from the position "the cost of living is a little sacrifice" [considering the Marty Bryant* fiasco i.e., undoubted spiritual and (associated) temporal provocation was then in play -- called Zionism**] .   So what have our governments done: encouraged multi-culture, made it possible to sell the joint of to foreigners, payed off Northern neighbours and gone further geographically to cadger commercial and military favour of a totalitarian regime now days flexing sea borne "muscle".  Peoples racially different to the majority of Australians including indigenous, and this has been the chosen line taken by politicians to make this country inviting for occupation -- the Indonesian military maps name North Australia as South Irian Jaya.  You would think now days -- as correct thinkers past converged -- on the notion of an armed citizenry as the means supplementary to homeland defense.  Alas, the sentiment lost or arrogation by successive governments means the soldier-farmer and the armed national patriot has no place in the intentions of the "priestly class" (after Don earlier).  Yet like minded, people of the same genealogy ( claiming Citizen status cf. with Subject of ... )  have not lost a powerful sense to survive, and protect the land give by (Divine) providence.

The resolution of the New Guinea issue by that American President was questioned here at the time.  Should it have been taken as a clarion call, the rumbling of "toof" "toof" as it passes in the inside lane of a carriage way if available for occupation -- that's invariably where you will hear the rumblings coming from (?)   Something lost as "Subject" people in determining beneficial outcomes.  Back then nearly twenty years since WW11 opportunity foregone.  Changes having taken place in the North ( Irian Jaya etc.), apparently means liberalizing weaponry ownership in civilian hands becomes tantamount to a hostile act.  At least that's the way our politicians would have us believe they would react (to the North)?!?!

**  Zionism means something different to internationalists and like minded rabbinical Jews.
